CWBI General Assembly 2023: Building the Future Together
In September 2023, Clowns Without Borders International (CWBI) gathered at the ‘Circ Cric’ circus tent in Sant Esteve de Palautordera, Spain, for its General Assembly (GA). This inspiring event brought together chapters from around the globe to connect in person, collaborate, and celebrate their shared mission of spreading joy.
One of the highlights of the GA was the strategic planning workshop, where participants worked on CWBI’s growth, organizational development, and long-term goals focusing on diversity and decoloniality. Vision statements for the organization’s four strategic pillars—Organizational Development, Program Coordination, Diversity and Decoloniality, and Chapter Mentorship—were presented, laying the groundwork for CWBI’s future.
The GA 2023 reaffirmed CWBI’s dedication to inclusivity, collaboration, and sustainable growth. These discussions set the stage for exciting progress, and CWBI looks forward to carrying this momentum into another impactful year
